Three decades of electrical engineering. One trail forward.
From a trusted materials supplier to a full energy solutions company. This is how Blazing Trail Engineering got here, and where it's heading.
Built on electrical materials, before it was built on solar.
With over 30 years of experience in the electrical industry, Blazing Trail Engineering began as a trusted supplier of industrial electrical materials, doing the unglamorous, essential work of getting the right components to the right sites.
In the last five years, that foundation became a launchpad. We expanded into a full-service engineering company, offering integrated solutions in solar energy, industrial panel fabrication, and PLC automation. That positioned us as a partner for clients who need more than power. They need efficiency, control, and long-term performance.
Leading the transformation of energy and industrial systems across Africa.
Our vision is to deliver world-class solar infrastructure, advanced electrical panels, and intelligent PLC automation, bridging the gap between power and productivity for businesses that demand efficiency, reliability and scale.
We're becoming a trusted partner not just for installation, but for the ongoing performance of the systems we build, with a growing focus on business and commercial-scale projects across Nigeria.
Principles, not slogans
Engineered, not assumed
Every system starts with a real load assessment, not a guess at what "should" work.
Integration over add-ons
Solar, panels and automation are designed to work together, not bolted on separately.
Support that outlasts install day
After-sales support and optimisation are part of the deal, not a paid extra.
Nkwocha Dabirichi James
Chief Operating Officer
Nkwocha Dabirichi James is an engineering professional working across renewable energy, solar power systems, and electrical engineering. His work has covered the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar energy systems for homes and businesses, along with procurement, supply chain coordination, and client-facing project management.
He's currently building deeper expertise in industrial automation, including PLC programming, HMI, SCADA, control systems, and process automation, with the goal of working at the intersection of renewable energy and industrial control. His approach is practical: solve the problem in front of him, get the system running reliably, and keep learning the next layer of the trade.
