Acceptance of these terms

By using this website, requesting a quote, or engaging Blazing Trail Engineering ("we", "us", "our") for services, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or our services.

Our services

We provide solar system design, supply and installation; industrial electrical panel design and fabrication; PLC programming and automation integration; power system consulting; and related products including solar panels, inverters, batteries, and industrial electrical components. Specific scope for any project is confirmed in writing (quote, invoice, or project agreement) before work begins.

Quotes & pricing

Package prices shown on this site are estimates based on typical installations. Final pricing is confirmed after a site visit or load assessment, and may vary based on site conditions, cable runs, structural work, or scope changes identified during that assessment. Prices are in Nigerian Naira and exclude any costs we identify as out of scope during the site visit unless otherwise stated in your quote.

Payment & installments

Projects typically require a deposit of 50% of the quoted price before work begins, with the balance due on completion, unless a different schedule is agreed in writing for a specific project. We do not offer standing financing or installment plans as a default option. The financing/installment advisor tool on this site gives an illustrative estimate only and does not constitute a financing offer. Any installment arrangement is considered case-by-case and only becomes binding once confirmed in writing by our team.

Installation & scheduling

Installation timelines are estimated at the time of quoting and confirmed once a deposit is received and site access is arranged. Delays caused by site access issues, weather, power authority approvals, or changes requested by the client may affect the schedule. We'll communicate any changes as they arise.

Warranty

Products we supply (panels, inverters, batteries, and components) carry the warranty terms provided by their manufacturers, which we'll pass on to you at the time of purchase. Our own installation workmanship is covered for 12 months from commissioning, covering defects in how the system was installed. This does not cover damage from misuse, unauthorized modification, power surges beyond the system's design, or normal wear.

Cancellations & refunds

Deposits are refundable in full if a project is cancelled before procurement begins. Once materials have been ordered for your project, the cost of materials already procured is non-refundable, with the remainder of the deposit refunded.

Client responsibilities

To deliver your project on schedule, we rely on you to provide accurate site information, reasonable access to the installation site, and timely responses during the design and approval stages. Delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate information provided to us may affect pricing or timelines.

Use of project photos

We may photograph completed installations for use in our portfolio, gallery, and marketing materials. We won't use identifying details about your home or business address in a way that compromises your security, and you can ask us not to feature your project by contacting us before or after installation.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Nigerian law, our liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of business income due to a system outage, except where caused by our proven negligence.

Website use

This site and its content, including package pricing, photos, and written material, belong to Blazing Trail Engineering and may not be copied or reused without our permission. The admin dashboard is restricted to authorized staff only.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these terms or our services will first be addressed through good-faith discussion between the parties before any formal proceedings.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Terms in effect at the time you sign a quote or project agreement govern that specific project.
